This multi-strain live culture combination has been specifically manufactured to be heat-resistant and, as such, does not require refrigeration, which makes it perfect for travel. It is also micro-encapsulated for acid-resistance and is able to withstand stomach acid, helping the live bacteria to reach the colon alive and in optimal condition and therefore able to colonise in the digestive tract.

Individual bacteria strains have different requirements to aid their growth in culture and the human gastrointestinal tract.

While Multi-Strain Function has not been produced with the primary purpose of being used as a ‘starter culture’ to make yoghurt or soured milk.

There are a number of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus strains in the capsule which have been shown to improve depression, OCD and anxiety. They are also instrumental in preventing inflammation and ensuring proper digestion.

Usage

1 capsule to be taken 1 to 3 times per day, before meals or as advised.
